Incident Command System for Single Resource Leaders & Initial Attack Incident Commanders to manage Incidents and the resources(ICS) - I-200
The importance of having trained, competent & prepared response capability, from Frist Response to complex incident/event management is vital in all agencies on all levels.
ICS I-200, defines the unique qualities of ICS as an event or incident management system. This course provide introduction to Unified Command, delegation of authority and management by objectives, functional areas and positions (overview of roles & responsibilities), briefings & Meetings during the Planning Process, organizational flexibility, and transfer of command.
ICS I-200 is designed to enable Single Resource Leaders & Initial Attack Incident Commanders (IC) to effectively and efficiently manage the incident and the incident resources, from first response IC responsibilities to Initial Attack IC responsibilities and prepare for transfer of command as the incident grows. This course focuses on the management of the incident and the resources and provides training for personnel who are likely to assume a supervisory position within the ICS during first response and/or initial attack incidents.

Michelle Kleinhans who has vast experience on all levels ICS courses, have tactical operational experience from her law enforcement background.
She had the opportunity to assist the USA and other international experts instructors in offering ICS training and related course.
She specialised as an ICS Specialist (Facilitator/Assessor/Moderator) including the development of student and instructor manuals on all level of ICS, facilitating, assessing and moderating of ICS to all level of clients in ICS, liaising with international partners and Train the Trainer in ICS and other courses.
From 2015, Michelle has been running Dynamic Incident Management (Pty) Ltd that provides training in various fire/event/safety and other fields of skills development.
She has trained many of the provincial and local authority emergency services personnel, as well as many of the conservation and forestry institutions staff.
